Erin has been teaching dance, acting, and singing for over ten years. Starting at the young age of 18, Erin directed performing arts programs for camps locally such as camp Kiwi and the Putnam Valley Parks and Rec. Erin also danced and taught at Darcy's Academy of Dance in Mahopac. Erin was a member of Danceworks Company at WCC and performed Lead roles such as Louisa (The Fantasticks) and Rosa Bud (The Mystery of Edwin Drood) in the theatre program there. She continued her love of dance and theatre at Manhattanville College, performing with the Dance Troupe, guest choreographers, dance ensemble, along with supporting roles in the theatre program as well.
After college Erin performed in local community theatre as well as a few regional productions, Millie (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Lead singer (Songs for a New World), Sandy (Grease), dancer (Godspell), Sister (Pirates of Penzance) to name a few. Erin taught a wide variety of classes at The Pulse Performing Arts Studio in Bedford, directing the hip hop company Detente for 3 years, choreographing competition pieces, preschool ballet/tap/hip hop, and different levels of hip hop and jazz dance.
Currently Erin is the director of the Junior Nova Jazz company at The Pulse Performing Arts Studio. Erin has found a home close to home here at East Pointe Dance and is happy to be a part of this studio.
